Position: Deli Associate Joseph’s Deli departments are consistently voted “Best Deli” in the cities we serve. From handcrafted sandwiches & party platters, to premier customer service, a Joseph’s Deli Associate will be a part of a winning team. Routine Tasks: * Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions * Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks * Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness * Package, label, and price self-service items accurately * Slice meats and cheeses, prepare custom sandwiches, and fulfill custom/special orders and party platters * Operate deli equipment safely, including meat and cheese slicers, ovens, knives, scales, and other Deli equipment * Assist with other tasks as assigned Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Prior deli or food preparation experience preferred * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Basic math and reading skills * Strong attention to detail and visual presentation * Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude * A passion for serving people A Deli Associate performs their tasks primarily in the Deli department. Work involves walking, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds. Work also includes frequent interaction with customers and fellow employees.
