We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Design Manager in London to join our team and act as a Project Leader for complex multi-disciplinary projects, taking ownership of successful and coordinated delivery.
The Design Management Team is part of a larger Projects group, consisting of 50 employees across our UK office locations.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience as a project manager or leader on multi-discipline projects with a construction value of £50 million or more.
  • Ability to lead complex multi-disciplinary projects and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project delivery, risk management, and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and process enhancement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership to the team, offering direction and technical advice.
  • Communicate project strategy, brief, and client requirements to team members.
  • Enhance productivity through improved processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Maintain an overview of the commercial aspects of the project.
  • Drive project performance, service delivery, and technical and commercial outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks.
  • Champion client care and work proactively with clients.
  • Review team performance and support their development.
  • Implement the latest learning and development initiatives within the team.
  • Monitor project spending against the planned budget.
  • Collaborate with the Project Director and central Finance team on invoicing and financial management.
  • Manage document records in line with the BH Quality Management System.
