The Paid Search & Shopping Associate Manager is responsible for the holistic channel strategy, execution and optimization across platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. This role combines technical skill with strategic ownership to drive performance across customer acquisition and product visibility objectives. The Associate Manager develops test agendas, manages channel strategy, and delivers insights grounded in data and retail behavior. In addition to channel ownership, this role collaborates with external vendors and agency partners, ensuring alignment on campaign delivery, platform innovation, and performance outcomes. This individual is expected to think critically, solve problems proactively, and bring innovative thinking to campaign design and measurement. This is an ideal role for a performance marketer ready to take ownership of business-driving campaigns and contribute to the channel evolution.

ROLE OBJECTIVE:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the channel planning, execution, and optimization of paid search and shopping across platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Partner with strategy, creative, and analytics teams to translate goals into actionable channel plans to support full-funnel goals
  • Build and execute test-and-learn agendas that explore creative, bidding, and targeting efficiencies
  • Analyze performance data and translate insights into recommendations for scaling or refining campaigns
  • Partner with external vendors and media agencies to align on campaign delivery, innovation opportunities, and performance accountability
  • Collaborate with merchandising, analytics, and creative teams to ensure alignment with business priorities and campaign storytelling
  • Champion the development of best practices, process documentation, and operational workflows

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in paid search, shopping, or performance marketing
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and product feed-based advertising
  • Strong analytical skills with experience developing actionable insights from performance data
  • Experience working with external partners, vendors, or agencies to support campaign success
