Job Description
We are currently seeking an Associate - Digital, to join our Urban Advisory team, based in Dubai. The Associate will play a crucial role in developing a strategy for AECOM to leverage its digital and data assets to make informed decisions and drive innovation. Extracting insights and knowledge from data using statistical and computational methods and communicating their findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively. The Associate is vital in helping the organization leverage its data assets to make informed decisions and drive innovation within Urban Advisory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Architecture or a related field
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • Professional Certification: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Azure Data Scientist Associate, Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate
  • Experience in the Urban Design, Master planning, and or Landscape industries is required.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Global digital strategy and the regional digital strategy to improve operational processes through the use of digital solutions, enhancing delivery and client satisfaction.
  • The Associate will work with large and complex datasets and use their mathematics, statistics, and computer science expertise to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships in the data.
  • A continual learner that stays up-to-date with new and emerging technologies, tools, and techniques for data analysis.
  • Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate models showcase proof points and case studies.
  • Define strategy for Data Science and analytics, focusing on the accuracy, privacy, and security of data and models.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Design, build, verify, and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools) by creating visualisations and reports.
  • Take ownership and meet deadlines whilst building exceptional quality outputs.
  • Design and deliver user interfaces based on a sound understanding of UX. Championing UI/UX principles.
  • Hands-on technical support, the role provides knowledge transfer to wider organisation stakeholders and is a point of contact when answering questions about Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration to deliver IT and business strategic goals and the translation of the strategy into a comprehensive and flexible Data Architecture and BI solutions.
