WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
About This Opportunity
Client Services Group (CSG) focuses on the financial needs of large corporate clients within Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) division. Our purpose-led, disciplined growth strategy builds on our expertise in transaction banking, debt financing and risk management.

You’ll work within Balance Sheet Management (BSM) function in CSG, leading and contributing to the delivery and implementation of CSG’s analytics objectives. This includes shaping, developing, driving and embedding analytical tools and providing insights to coverage, product and origination areas as well as into specialist functions in Risk, Finance and/or Treasury (where appropriate).

  • Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) Balance Sheet Strategy: Develop meaningful insights to drive and shape the direction of our CIB Balance Sheet. Exhibit strong leadership skills by taking the helm in various initiatives and projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement-led analytics: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners through effective collaboration. Ensure the development of tools and identification of opportunities align with needs and remain fit for purpose. Roll out of tools to stakeholders through workshops and presentations.

What You’ll Need

  • Exposure to leading/managing small teams, analytics projects or strategic insights.
  • Collaborating in cross functional teams
  • Managing the expectations of senior stakeholders
  • Structuring and planning small scale pieces of work
  • Coaching, mentoring and upskilling junior colleagues
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management.
  • Track record of building strong relationships across varied subject areas
  • Excellent communication skills: in meetings, in writing and presentations
  • Experience gathering requirements and user stories
  • Significant experience extracting insights from and telling stories with data, to drive action and improve business outcomes (i.e. data translator)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous and numerate
  • Significant experience in SQL and Power BI is essential
  • Able to think strategically, yet understands operational detail
  • Keen learner with drive for excellence and thinking out of the box
