Description:
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 10+ years of professional experience in Paid User Acquisition and ASO.
- 5+ years of experience leading and growing a high-performing app marketing team
- You bring an entrepreneurial mindset: you embrace ownership, make bold, data-driven decisions, and relentlessly pursue innovative solutions to drive sustainable growth
- Strong understanding of mobile tracking platforms (e.g., MMPs) including hands-on experience with integration and troubleshooting
- Experience interpreting, and optimizing multi-touch attribution models and/or marketing mix modeling (MMM)
- Ability to identify and close tech/setup gaps quickly (e.g., partner with product, tech, and marketing stakeholders to launch or optimize new campaigns)
- Understanding of digital marketing disciplines from digital display, paid social media, OTV, SEO, PPC, e-commerce, social media, and affiliate marketing
- Excellent communication skills. You will be the go-to person for multiple marketing and communication teams. Interpersonal skills are a prerequisite for success.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, testing new approaches, and learning from both successes and failures

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As Associate Director of App Marketing in our Paid Marketing department, you will be responsible for leading a team that drives app-based customer acquisition to 17 countries and 5 brands. You will lead the expansion of our App Acquisition efforts in a cost-effective manner while contributing to our full-funnel customer journey strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead a team that runs all the app marketing activities (including ASO) and partner with other Paid Marketing teams to run app native campaigns on their platforms (ie. Google, Meta).
- Work on improving the channel infrastructure by:
- i) identifying tech/setup gaps preventing further efficient scaling of channels, resolving them, and assisting the team in launching new campaigns;
- ii) partner with tech, product, and other marketing stakeholders to test and scale improvements in the app funnel & experience to improve app-based customer acquisition;
- iii) building the infrastructure to increase the efficiency of the team (budgeting automation, incremental regression analysis, etc..);
- iv) coordinating and deploying different messaging on ads and app store landing pages in collaboration with the brand team and the other performance marketing teams involved in channel execution;
- v) collaborating with the marketing data product team to improve the integration of the app marketing channels into the MMM and other marketing measurement models;
- vi) closely collaborating with the tracking team to improve the current MMP integration and app tracking data pipelines.
