Associate Director Business Partnering Lead a HR business partnering team to deliver strategic people, culture and workforce advice Clerk Grade 11/12 with a salary range of $149,739 to $173,174 per annum plus superannuation Ongoing role based in Haymarket, Sydney NSW About the role The Associate Director, Business Partnering leads a high-performing team of HR specialists to deliver expert people, culture and workforce advice to the department. Acting as a strategic partner, the role enables leaders to effectively manage their workforce, build capability, navigate complex people management matters, and drive successful organisational change. You will lead a portfolio of complex initiatives and projects, managing interdependencies and ensuring delivery of key outcomes within tight timeframes and competing priorities. A key focus of the role is providing targeted insights, clear explanations and evidence-based recommendations aligned to business priorities, enabling data-driven decision making across the organisation. You will lead the analysis and interpretation of workforce data and trends to identify emerging issues, inform strategic workforce planning, and support organisational design and change initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, coaching and influencing to uplift leadership capability and ensure the effective delivery of people and workforce strategies. You will also provide expert guidance on People Matters Employee Survey results, supporting the business to drive business outcomes and implement sustainable change. About you You are an experienced and trusted people and culture leader with a strong background in HR business partnering. With highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, you engage effectively at all levels and influence the resolution of complex and sensitive people matters in line with legislation, policies and procedures. You bring proven capability in change and project management, strategic problem-solving and driving business transformation. You have demonstrated experience using data and insights to inform decision making and improve workforce outcomes, along with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. You are a capable and driven leader, leading and developing a team of HR specialists while building capability through coaching, mentorship and continuous improvement.
