QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (essential)
• CA or CPA (essential)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following essential experience and attributes:

• Minimum ten years’ experience in professional practice.
• Strong leadership skills
• Proven business development capability
• Advanced knowledge of different accounting software and technologies
• Sound understanding of Accounting Practices and Standards
• Exceptional organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and can operate well within a team
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and invest in their own learning
• Consultancy skills (desired)

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, coach and advise a team of accountants
• Provide a high-level business advisory perspective to clients.
• Provide a high-level business compliance to clients.
• Provide oversight to ensure client solutions are robust.
• Assist with the mentoring and development of team members.
• Support the Director for BS&T with clients where required.
