Job Title Associate Director, Capital Markets Asia Job Description CM Asia covers wide ranges of Loan Syndication business and DCM for GC, East Asia and South East Asia. We focus on one stop shop from origination until distribution to achieve better P&L income and expand client base from CM perspective. As an AD level, the job holder should be able to work relatively independent in terms of secondary sourcing and selling assets while focusing on execution on primary transactions as and when needed. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Support the more senior CM Hong Kong colleagues to maintain relationships with regional investors in Asia, with a view to increase the “originate to distribute” strategy. Conduct research and analysis on existing clients and prospects to assess their financing requirements Coordinate the internal approval process for transaction execution in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and audit requirements. Duties include origination efforts (drafting of mandate letters, term sheets, cashflow projections, underwriting memos), syndication process (invitation letters, information memoranda, investor presentations, bookrunning investors and loan distribution), and execution (documentation, signing and publicity processes) and other relevant related tasks. Shared responsibility for day-to-day operations of the desk (i.e. preparing pitch materials, client roadshow / non-deal roadshow, executing deals, manning the desk, ClientLink updates, internal management presentations, fee bookings, updating guidelines and manuals, loan market searches, etc.) Ensure timely deal execution by liaising with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and clients in accordance with Rabobank requirements and client objectives Successful close of mandated transactions including risk management, sell-down, appropriate income retention, and accurate administration where relevant Primary and secondary facilitation and distribution of Asia loan products and/or DCM products for the bank when required.
