SUMMARY

The A/Director, Clinic Services and Quality Improvement is responsible for providing directions, overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of on-site and virtual clinic service delivery. This role involves strategic leadership, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across all clinic sites.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated progressive management experience - A minimum of 3 years of clinical project or management experience - Required
  • Experience with EMR systems and working in a primary health care setting - Required
  • Strong clinical knowledge - Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare discipline or designation - Preferred
  • Experience in delivering results in a fast‑paced environment and lead complex projects
  • Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation – Required

Responsibilities

Administrative

  • Lead and manage the operations supervisors and staff of both on-site and virtual clinic services.
  • Collaborate with organizational management and leadership teams to align clinic operations with broader strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the Project Management Office on the implementation of projects, analytics, and enhancing clinic efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety protocols and regulations.
  • Engage and align clinic staff, physicians, management, vendors, and stakeholders to support organizational priorities.
  • Establish, communicate, and enforce clinic policies, including confidentiality and operational guidelines.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Continuously develop strategies to increase productivity and efficiency across all sites.
  • Oversee the optimization and utilization of electronic health records and IT systems.
  • Other relevant projects and initiatives as required.

Human Resource

  • Directly manage clinic staff, ensuring smooth and productive operations across all sites.
  • Oversee effective recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
  • Maximize the service delivery from physicians, specialists, pharmacies, and allied health services.
  • Foster strong communication and engagement with physicians, providers, vendors, and patients.

Financials

  • Work with the accounting team to monitor operational efficiency, ensuring adherence to budgeted staff ratios and cost controls.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in the procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate account receivables.
  • Hold profit and loss responsibility for clinic sites, driving fiscal health and sustainability.
  • Provide monthly management reports, insights, and recommendations for performance improvement.

Clinic Enhancement

  • Identify operational challenges and develop strategies for continuous operational and service improvements.
  • Provide clinical guidance to ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and privacy.
  • Ensure the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of operations at clinic sites.
  • Collaborate with organizational management and leadership teams to align clinic operations with broader strategic objectives.
