Description Full-Time | Nashua, NH Greater Nashua Mental Health is looking for an Associate Director of Community Support Services (CSS) to join our growing team! This role supports the Director in overseeing department operations, clinical programs, and service delivery. This leadership role provides supervision, coordinates specialty programs, and drives quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality, client-centered care. This position combines clinical leadership, program oversight, and direct service responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Assist in the leadership and coordination of CSS operations and specialty programs. Provide oversight and support to specialty teams including SAFV, FEP, and Clinical Care Coordination services. Maintain a small caseload and provide direct services including therapy and/or case management. Facilitate department meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, and follow-up activities. Monitor service delivery processes and performance metrics to ensure program effectiveness. Identify operational and clinical barriers and lead initiatives to improve service delivery. Collaborate with managers, coordinators, and providers to ensure continuity of care and strong communication. Support staff onboarding, training, and ongoing development. Lead quality improvement initiatives, workflow development, and departmental projects. Assist in workforce planning, service utilization review, and department operations. Serve as a liaison between internal departments, community partners, and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulatory standards, and contractual requirements. Participate in program development and regional planning initiatives. Support staffing coverage and serve as leadership in the absence of the Director. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and records. Perform additional duties or projects as assigned. Qualifications Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field required. 3–5 years of experience in behavioral health or community mental health services. Licensed mental health provider required. Strong leadership, organizational, and operational management skills. Experience with program oversight, workflow development, and quality improvement initiatives. Knowledge of community mental health systems and care coordination practices. Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
