With your expertise in marketing analytics and business intelligence, as an Associate Director, Consumer Analytics of Kimberly-Clark North America (KCNA), you’ll lead a team in diagnosing in-market business issues, optimizing marketing investment, and influencing short and long-term business forecasts and strategies. As an influential strategic business leader, you will build strong partnerships within your designated business unit, including serving as a consumer analytics expert with senior leaders, marketers, finance analysts and other key stakeholders. You will provide leadership and feedback in the development of a range of standards and capabilities supporting the Insights & Analytics (I&A) agenda.

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Syndicated data mastery in RMS and panel data. Deep knowledge of all measures and how to use them to diagnose critical business questions.
  • Superior project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive projects to completion with excellence.
  • Natural curiosity in data and data analysis that leads to uncovering and identifying new insights that inform and shape business decisions and strategy.
  • Working experience and ability to run category forecasts, scenario modeling, business analytics and marketing mix models.
  • Team player with ability to navigated a matrixed organization while keeping all stakeholders informed.
  • Deep understanding of statistics and advanced analytics and supporting tools especially Power BI and Think Cell.
  • Owning the design and activation of I&A analytics and measurement agenda in alignment with the most important questions for the business in support of top tier growth goals.
  • Leading individually or with team on critical projects or processes that disproportionately impact the business unit’s growth goals. Providing hands on guidance and oversight to team on critical projects and analyses.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for team to design and explain analyses and results using marketing performance and business intelligence tools.
  • Leading the consumer analytics team for a key business unit, establishing clear accountabilities and ways of working within the team and across key stakeholders. Continuously check/adjust to drive clarity and maximize team performance.
  • Developing hypotheses and decision criteria to meet business objectives; determining appropriate analytic methodologies to test hypotheses; ensuring optimal study design and execution to draw relevant inferences and create recommendations to define business opportunities.
  • Maximizing the consumer analytics syndicated and forecasting investments by ensuring agendas and resources are aligned to strategic areas for the business and are driving towards value creation.
  • Providing oversight, expertise, and guidance to syndicated analytics suppliers in designing complex analytics and measurement projects, interpreting data, writing reports, and communicating actionable recommendations.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team as openings become available. Providing day-to-day coaching and guidance to develop individuals that align to business and individual needs.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in consumer analytics and marketing measurement. MBA preferred.
  • Experience leading teams within a consumer insights and analytics function.
  • Direct experience in consumer analytics at a Consumer Packed Goods (CPG), retailer, or supplier. This includes driving strategy, explaining business performance, and answering complex business questions with syndicated data sources like NielsenIQ, Circana and/or Numerator. Additionally, this includes direct experience at a CPG, retailer, media agency or supplier in leading advanced analytics solutions like marketing mix models, sales lift analyses, and people-based measurement to optimize marketing investment.
