The project: This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through a hands-on Construction Management approach, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and sub-contract packages. You’ll be responsible for: Oversees contract documentation including warranties, bonds, and licenses to ensure formal execution by all relevant parties. Leads large teams or multiple teams, fostering behaviours that drive success, meet KPIs, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Ensures accurate valuation measurements for cost control and enforces robust reporting services. Directs monthly post-contract cost reporting, presenting financial updates and forecasts to clients. Identifies and manages costs related to design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges. Evaluates contractor claims for delays and additional costs, including those from subcontractors and suppliers. Manages project completion certification, including practical completion, defect resolution, and final account sign-off. Champions cost management innovation, process improvement, and carbon reduction initiatives aligned with net zero goals. You’ll need to have: Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval. Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent). Professional membership i.e. MRICS/RICS (or equivalent).
