The Associate Director, Customer Engagement and Omnichannel is the single point-of-contact for US marketing team to orchestrate successful multi-channel marketing strategies that achieve key business goals. This role collaborates with brand and cross-functional teams (business, commercial operations, IT, agency partners) to lead channel planning, execution, optimization, and performance to meet critical engagement objectives for the US Ascendis Endocrinology portfolio.
This role is responsible for elevating the customer experience and maximizing engagement across healthcare providers and patients to achieve business goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Aligned with the brand strategy, build and optimize an effective ecosystem to deliver best in class customer experience.
In collaboration with brand leads, develop and oversee the execution of campaigns that deliver full-funnel engagement, generate demand, and drive sales conversions.
Champion the adoption and effectiveness of innovative engagement solutions for HCP and Patients/Caregivers.
Apply sound principles and best practices to achieve Customer Experience excellence across key non-personal channels and assets.
In collaboration with marketing colleagues, lead social media marketing execution to achieve business performance goals.
Regularly provide brand team(s) with actionable insights from campaign recommendations to optimize customer engagement.
Serve as a dedicated engagement lead for the brand team(s), agency partners, and internal cross-functional teams (e.g. IT, Commercial Operations, etc.) to enable seamless execution of business strategy.
Establish KPIs, and prioritization framework to ensure marketing activities are both impactful and cost-effective.
Prepare and present performance insights to senior management team to demonstrate return on ad spend and ROI of investments.
Direct media vendors to craft effective channel plans, provide recommendations as needed, meet budget expectations, and deliver on all agreed upon commitments within their scope(s) of work.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
10+ year of experience; small company/biotech experience preferred
This is a hybrid 3-day onsite role in Princeton, New Jersey.
Working knowledge of product/brand marketing principles and the development of customer segment strategies and execution.
Extensive experience with non-personal promotion, digital campaign development and tactical execution, and development and management of social media channel strategies for optimal engagement.
In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, drug development, commercialization process, and healthcare trends.
Subject matter expertise of regulatory requirements, restrictions, and implications within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience with media partners, management of media agencies and related solution partners.
Salary range: $180-200K/year
