As the Associate Director, Data Science, you will partner with the Director of Advanced Analytics and Data Science in shaping the success of our automotive client’s innovative sales and marketing initiatives.
Your expertise in predictive modeling, private offers, and budget scenario planning will drive data-driven decision-making, optimize audience strategies, and provide best-in-class value for Latcha’s automotive client.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive experience and application of Data Modeling, Forecasting and Advanced Analytics techniques using Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Psychology, or Economics.
4+ years Predictive modeling, data science, machine learning with complete fluency in SAS, R, or Python.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is a hybrid leadership and individual contributor role, with the following key responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
o Provide subject matter expertise in advanced analytics, focusing on predictive targeting, measurement, and optimization.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address custom business challenges using data-driven insights.
2. Team Management:
o Lead and inspire a team of highly motivated analysts.
o Oversee data gathering, analysis, and predictive modeling development.
o Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
3. Client Partnership
o Ability to communicate complex results to all types of functions and levels within the organization and to our clients.
o Develop advanced analytics solutions, including predictive models, customer lifetime value (LTV) analysis, and multi-channel attribution.
4. Roadmap Design:
o Create an advanced analytics roadmap aligned with larger business goals.
o Incorporate input from the broader MI (Marketing Intelligence) team and key stakeholders.
o Identify data requirements and consult on database design for the building of predictive models.
5. Project Planning and Implementation:
o Collaborate with data scientists, data operations, client IT, technology platform partner, and other members of the Marketing Intelligence team to implement advanced analytics models.
o Develop frameworks, models, tools, and processes to ensure that data science insights and predictive insights can be incorporated into key decision making.
o Collaborate with Marketing Intelligence Insights Analysts to gather requirements and develop complex data sets to be used for deep dive analyses inclusive of customer profile analyses, longitudinal content, and customer touchpoint analyses.
