We are seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Director of Development and Business Operations to join UTHealth Houston School of Public Health in Houston, Texas. The Associate Director will lead business development and operational strategy for the Center for Healthcare Data, overseeing marketing, fiscal management, and overall operations. They will also support, contract negotiations, and supervise quality review and HR activities.The ideal candidate should have experience working with researchers and academics involved evaluation studies, business development and management. Experience and strong knowledge of policies and statutes related to healthcare data and research. This is a hybrid position.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides leadership for the center or institute business development, operations, and initiatives. Accountable for the overall planning, coordinating and directing business management and services for the center.
POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
CERTIFICATION/SKILLS:
Experience working with researchers and academics involved evaluation studies is preferred.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business, Public Health Care Administration or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Six (6) years of related experience required. Experience in evaluation studies or implementation science preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
