The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join this close-knit team as an Associate Director. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Manager or current Associate Director looking to take the next significant step in their career. As an Associate Director, you will work closely with the Director group, contributing to the strategic direction of accounting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business, and develop a great relationship with them.
- Lead regular client meetings to help clients set a financial plan, and hold them accountable to this, including analysing and presenting their financial performance. Providing strategic advice and support, including tax planning.
- Address day-to-day client queries promptly - add value in every touchpoint.
- Facilitate client interactions with other team members (e.g., tax team).
Staff Management and Development
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a collaborative and professional team environment.
- Training: Identify training needs and provide ongoing professional development opportunities for staff.
Business Development
- Proposals and Bids: Assist in preparing and presenting proposals and bids to potential new clients.
- Networking: Participate in networking events and activities to build the firm’s reputation and client base.
Technical Expertise
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical advice and expertise to clients and colleagues on complex accounting and financial reporting issues.
- Staying Updated: Keep abreast of changes in standards, financial reporting regulations, and industry developments.
