Reporting to the Director Value & Portfolio Management, this role is responsible for ensuring sustainable, transparent and policy‑aligned funding models that enable value for money, financial sustainability and effective service delivery across GTP platforms. This is a senior role requiring strong commercial judgement, stakeholder influence and the ability to operate with authority across complex, all‑of‑government environments. Key responsibilities In this role you will: Lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of GTP pricing, funding and cost‑recovery models in line with NSW Government policy and financial frameworks. Provide strategic leadership across end‑to‑end commercial and financial processes, including budget planning, funding allocations and pricing governance for all‑of‑government digital platforms. Partner closely with platform leaders, finance teams and central agencies to ensure sustainable funding arrangements and clear financial accountability. Act as a trusted adviser to senior executives, providing expert commercial, financial and strategic advice to support informed decision‑making. Lead and represent the Pricing & Funding function across GTP and broader government forums, influencing outcomes and promoting consistent, standardised approaches. Identify, assess and manage financial, commercial and delivery risks, ensuring continuity of services and minimisation of financial exposure. Drive continuous improvement in pricing and funding practices, supported by robust financial analysis, modelling and reporting. Lead and develop team members, contributing to broader Value & Portfolio Management and GTP leadership activities. About you You are a commercially astute leader with: Demonstrated experience in pricing, funding, financial modelling or commercial operations within complex organisations (government experience highly regarded). Strong understanding of public‑sector financial management, budget processes and governance frameworks. Proven ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders across multiple organisations. Experience leading teams and managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment. Well‑developed analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable advice. A collaborative, outcomes‑focused leadership style aligned to NSW Government values. Experience in managing and developing a team of skilled professionals.
