JOB TITLE: ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Location: San Francisco, CA 94118 (In-person Monday & Thursday)
*Option to work from home Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $125K (will increase to $130K- $140K after the first 4 months)
Additional Bonus: $25K – $50K annually based on sales & production
Target Total Compensation: $155K – $190K
Job Description
The Associate Director will serve as a strategic and operational leader on the Glow Events team. This role is responsible for overseeing event projects from start to finish, managing client communications, supporting the Glow planning team, and contributing to business development efforts. The Associate Director will act as a liaison between clients and the Glow team, ensuring a high standard of service, design execution, and internal process management. Responsibilities

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5-8 years experience at a luxury or high-end event agency (required)
• Demonstrated experience managing both clients and internal teams
• Strong familiarity with large-scale event budgets and vendor management

SKILLS

• Proactive communicator with high emotional intelligence
• Proven leadership in fast-paced, high-touch environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to oversee multiple moving parts
• Comfortable with conflict resolution and maintaining client satisfaction

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to relocate to San Francisco, CA before start date
• Standard travel within the Bay Area (Napa, Silicon Valley, etc.) and some out-of-state travel required
• Work location: In-person at Glow HQ
