Job Description What is the opportunity? Our Group Pricing team is looking for a passionate individual to help us grow RBC Insurance's Group Benefits line of business. This includes reviewing manual rates, experience rating methodology as well as supporting our product, sales and underwriting partners. The role acts as a subject matter expert for all the pricing of Group benefits, and greatly influences the profitable growth of our business line. What will you do? • Support pricing strategy and initiatives for group life, disability, and other group benefit products, including review and enhancement of pricing methodologies, assumptions, and governance frameworks • Monitor and analyze experience trends (profitability, lapse, rate guarantees, claims, incidence), and investigate emerging issues • Lead sales compensation reporting, including review of retention and profitability performance, supporting compensation structure updates and modeling impacts of changes • Maintain various pricing tools and rate calculators, ensuring consistency and operational efficiency. Update pricing assumptions and perform testing and validation in experience rating templates • Provide timely pricing support to sales, underwriting and other partners, including reviewing and approving discounting requests, providing recommendations on special pricing inquires, and handling ad hoc requests What will you need to succeed? Must have • Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or a related field, with a minimum of 7+ years of actuarial experience is required.
