This sole contributor role offers a high-impact opportunity to lead and shape the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy for Moderna’s vaccine portfolio in Australia and New Zealand. The successful candidate will design and deliver localized HEOR evidence plans that influence pricing, reimbursement, access, and institutional decision-making. The position requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex data into tailored value narratives and communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholders. This is a rare opportunity to own affiliate-level HEOR execution while contributing to the evolution of global strategy. Based in Melbourne, this role reports to the Executive Director of Global HEOR for Infectious Disease, with a dotted line to the Director of Market Access, Australia. Here’s What You’ll Do Your key responsibilities will be: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of local HEOR strategies and evidence generation tailored to Australia and New Zealand. Adapt global cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and public health economic models to support HTA submissions. Oversee the development of comprehensive reimbursement dossiers and materials submitted to ATAGI, PBAC, and PHARMAC. Represent HEOR in early scientific engagement and formal assessment processes to shape pricing and recommendation strategies. Manage external vendors to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality deliverables aligned with local and global expectations. Your responsibilities will also include: Translate technical HEOR evidence into strategic insights relevant to HTA, NITAG, and institutional decision-makers. Develop localized value communication assets that support payer and institutional engagement. Ensure seamless alignment between global value dossiers and regional adaptations, while contributing insights back into global strategy. Track timelines, manage budgets, and contribute to congress abstracts and peer-reviewed publications.
