Job Description

We are seeking a full-time ICT Associate Director within the Building Engineering Division. This role is to be based in one of AECOMs UK Offices
As part of AECOM’s Security & Technology team, the group provides ICT design and support services to complement and enhance the design activities of the Mechanical and Electrical teams.
The role covers the design of ICT systems across various industry sectors, including office fit-out, mixed-use, industrial, and multiple government organisations.
You will have a solid foundation of understanding or analysis of client business practices and goals. Developed and formulated solutions to client problems on assigned projects. Under general direction, be responsible for creating work plans and task definitions. Have broad technical knowledge but possess an area of specialization or focus.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven extensive experience in a design-based consultancy.
  • Hold a Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional (CNIDP) qualification.

Designs will also need support and interface to other third-party Internet Protocol (IP) based technologies, including:

  • Security – CCTV and Access Control.
  • AV and Multimedia, including IPTV, digital signage, room booking systems, and Intelligent building components.
  • Common Network Systems (CNS), including integration with third-party MEP services, including but not limited to Lighting Control, BMS, and other building-related services and systems.

As projects move to a construction phase, the role will require the following:

  • Undertaking client design team meetings.
  • Site inspections.
  • Test result analysis.
  • Witness testing.
