REQUIREMENTS

  • 5–10 years in custody sales, prime brokerage, securities services, or digital-asset custody.
  • Strong understanding of custody models (omnibus, segregated accounts), client money rules, settlement, clearing, and tokenization.
  • Established institutional client network (asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, digital-asset exchanges, fintechs).
  • Proven track record of originating and closing multi-million-dollar mandates.
  • Familiarity with custody platforms, sub-custody arrangements, digital wallets, and connectivity (SWIFT, APIs, DLTs).
  • Knowledge of FSRA/DFSA/SEBI/FSC frameworks and global custody compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA, CA, CFA, or equivalent financial qualification.
  • Prior experience in cross-border custody, digital assets, or wealth-tech platforms.
  • Exposure to ADGM/DIFC/Mauritius/Singapore markets.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an experienced Institutional Custody Sales professional to drive client acquisition and revenue growth by positioning custody, safekeeping, and ancillary services (including digital assets and traditional securities) to institutional clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Originate, pitch, and close custody mandates across institutional clients (asset managers, hedge funds, family offices, exchanges, fintechs).
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling ancillary services (FX, treasury, settlement, tokenization, lending, client money accounts).
  • Lead RFPs, client due diligence, and commercial negotiations.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with key decision makers (CIOs, CFOs, COOs, Compliance Heads).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and onboarded custody clients.
  • Stay abreast of global custody and digital asset regulatory developments.
  • Partner with product, operations, compliance, and risk teams to design tailored custody solutions.
  • Achieve assigned revenue, asset-under-custody (AUC), and client acquisition targets.
