POSITION SUMMARY:

The Insights & Analytics (I&A) Team within Vertex International has evolved from a reporting function to a strategic capability that drives data-driven decision-making and commercial success. Our team plays a pivotal role in delivering robust, forward-looking forecasts that guide strategic planning, resource allocation, and business growth.
We are seeking a lead for the Commercial Forecast ing Haematology (HEME) team who will own, enhance, and report the forecasting across Int ernationa l Markets . The role of International Forecast ing & Analytics Associate Director – HEME is to lead the forecasting process and reporting for the International HEME organisation and be a strong advisor to commercial leadership. This person will provide quantitative and qualitative forecasting and analytical insights and partner with the business to advance HEME success , working closely with the local commercial , finance, marketing and Supply Chain functions.
The individual reports to the Director of International I&A , and will be based in Paddington, London.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, biotech, operations, demand planning, or related discipline with extensive years of experience working in data analysis and insights generation
  • Previous experience in Biotech/Pharma/Med Device industry is highly valued
  • Strong analytical and modelling mindset; demonstrated analytical approach to understand the impact of the way data and reporting is interpreted and utilized for decision-making
  • Innovative and flexible approach – thrive to find solutions outside the box
  • Deep proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions and pivot tables) and PowerPoint
  • A foundation in statistical concepts incl. regression, significance testing, correlation vs. causation, etc
  • Strong understanding of data models
  • Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview, etc.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize the workload of the team.
