JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate Director IT will provide overall leadership for VUMC’s IT hardware and software asset management needs across the organization and will work with Information Technology department(s) by developing goals, objectives, policies and procedures surrounding asset management. This position will begin the process of establishing a team to organize these IT assets, mitigate risks to the enterprise, and pursue opportunities for improvements in our asset management processes across VUMC. This position will establish governance and quality control throughout the lifecycle of the assets. This position will work in concert with the Executive Director to facilitate and develop a multi-tiered approach to further secure the enterprise and maximize efficiency within the organization in both fiscal and human capital, as well as prepare operating budgets and perform personnel administration functions.
