Our Landscape Architecture team have new opportunities for Associate Directors with expertise in Landscape Planning to join our successful team across the Birmingham and London offices.
These roles represent great opportunities for you to further develop your career, leading on a wide range of projects across sectors including urban regeneration, new town settlements, tall buildings, residential/mixed use greenfield development, commercial, infrastructure and energy projects at various stages of the planning process.
As an Associate Director, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our landscape planning services, managing multidisciplinary teams, and driving excellence across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will also provide guidance, mentoring and support the professional development of our talented team; fostering a collaborative and inclusive working culture.
These opportunities can be based in a number of our offices including Birmingham or London, with hybrid working allowing for a mix of in-office and home working. Our offices are friendly and sociable places offering a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of landscape and townscape planning projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and client

satisfaction.

  • Provide expert input into Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA), Townscape and Visual Impact

Assessments (TVIA), and strategic landscape analysis.

  • Guide and mentor team members, supporting their professional development and fostering a collaborative and inclusive

working culture.

  • Contribute to business development activities, including client engagement, bid preparation, and identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Represent the landscape team in internal and external meetings, including planning inquiries and public consultations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across our UK offices to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.
  • Provide strategic advice on landscape capacity, sensitivity studies, and character assessments, including Green Belt and Strategic Gap evaluations.
