Job Description

LOCATION: DUBLIN, GALWAY, OR CORK

At AECOM, we believe infrastructure has the power to uplift communities and improve lives. We’re looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Associate Director level to join our growing team in Ireland. Based in one of our Dublin, Galway, or Cork offices, you’ll lead mechanical engineering on some of Ireland’s most impactful projects – from conception to delivery.

Responsibilities

As the Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will:

  • Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team across Ireland.
  • Deliver both stand-alone and multi-disciplinary projects with excellence.
  • Mentor and support engineers and technicians to grow their careers and capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing ones.
  • Act as Project Manager on mechanical-led or multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Drive innovation, solving complex engineering challenges with creativity and expertise.
