JOB SUMMARY

The Associate Director will be responsible for managing and executing private credit transactions from origination through closing and providing the regional head with origination support. This role requires a strong understanding of credit markets, deal structuring, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various internal teams such as loan syndicate, syndicate and financing risk, legal, credit and operations to ensure successful execution of deals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent financial analysis, financial modelling, credit writing skills, legal structuring skills, power point, negotiation, and project management skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships with external stakeholders.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of private credit markets, legal documentation, and investment structures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in private credit or a related field, with a strong track record in executing private credit transactions.
• Deep understanding of credit analysis, valuation, M&A accounting, financial modeling, and deal structuring.
• Experience in managing multiple complex transactions simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work with senior management and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. An MBA, CFA, or other relevant advanced certifications are a plus.
