As Associate Marketing Director, you will drive brand positioning and lifecycle management for Moderna’s vaccine portfolio and pipeline, ensuring alignment with global strategies while addressing local public health needs. You’ll partner cross-functionally with Medical, Market Access, and Field teams to bring impactful, compliant, and integrated marketing campaigns to life. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, requiring agility, collaboration, and insight into Taiwan’s healthcare landscape. Based in Taipei and reporting to the Commercial Director, you will shape Moderna’s public narrative and help build long-term value in the Taiwan market. Here’s What You’ll Do: Your key responsibilities will be: Develop and execute Taiwan marketing strategies and operational plans in alignment with global brand direction and local commercial objectives. Elevate awareness of Moderna’s leadership in mRNA science, respiratory disease prevention, and vaccine innovation. Drive public health–aligned brand positioning and lifecycle management strategies across the vaccine portfolio. Collaborate closely with Medical, Market Access, and Field teams to ensure cohesive execution across all stakeholders. Lead the adaptation and local implementation of global marketing campaigns to maximize brand impact and ROI. Provide strategic input to business planning and forecasting based on deep market insights and performance analysis. Ensure that all initiatives are executed on time, on budget, and in full compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. Apply best-in-class project management practices to oversee marketing initiatives and agency partnerships. Build and deliver training and tactical tools to support field engagement across digital, remote, and in-person channels. Navigate Taiwan’s public health and policy ecosystem to ensure relevant and responsible marketing strategies. Your responsibilities will also include: Ensuring integration of global strategic assets into local execution with an entrepreneurial and compliant mindset. Supporting cross-functional alignment for long-term portfolio growth in the Taiwan market. Leading local KEE engagement strategies and thought leadership initiatives in collaboration with external partners. Monitoring brand performance and identifying opportunities for market shaping, uptake acceleration, and positioning refinement. Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in business or related fields is a plus 10+ years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, or 7+ years of experience in marketing roles within pharma or related healthcare sectors. Experience in vaccines and/or infectious diseases is a plus Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies, including digital channels Proven ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, concise, and compelling messaging Strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability in a matrixed organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to influence without authority Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships across functions and with external partners Track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with high quality and attention to detail High level of initiative, strong work ethic, and ability to operate effectively under ambiguity and pressure Team player who works effectively with internal colleagues and agency partners Operating in a manner that is consistent with Moderna’s ethics and integrity, with a strong commitment to compliance.
