Description

The Role * Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the mining industry, including large ASX-listed companies. * Provide expert advice on insurance coverage and risk management strategies. * Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their insurance needs and resolving any issues promptly. * Conduct regular client meetings to review insurance programs and ensure alignment with their evolving needs. * Work with clients to develop their approach to insurance to be more strategic and to build resilience and risk mitigation strategies. * Work with our team of experts in placement of insurance lines to negotiate and secure comprehensive and competitive insurance terms, ensuring optimal coverage and pricing for clients. * Prepare and present detailed insurance proposals and reports to clients. * Lead insurance renewals and support claims processes, ensuring efficient and effective resolution. * Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks within the mining sector that are relevant to clients and prospects in considering their insurance needs. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities. * Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence and attract new clients. * Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with key stakeholders. * Contribute to the strategic direction of our clients approach to their insurance portfolios. * Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance regulations and industry standards. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
