Description

Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is one of Ireland’s largest Irish owned consultants with centres of excellence in Sustainable Infrastructure, Circular Economy, Environment and Renewables. FT provides consultancy, project management , design and contract management services for the -preparation of statutory consent applications and construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridgeworks, rail, solid waste facilities, public realm, biomethane and renewable energy.
FT is looking to recruit an Associate Director – Environmental Engineering to join our Circular Economy and Environmental team reporting to the Group Director. This is a hybrid role based in either our Cork, Carlow or Dublin Offices. Suitable candidates must have a minimum of 15+ years of experience with at least 5 years in senior or managerial position . The successful candidate will join an established company and will have the opportunity to broaden their existing range of technical and managerial skills and experiences. This role offers the successful candidate a clear path for career development to Director positions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related field and Chartered Engineer status.
  • Minimum 15+ years post-graduate experience with at least 5 years in senior or managerial position
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Multi-disciplinary design t experience.
  • Experience engaging with clients, external stakeholders and sub-consultants.
  • Experience with business development.
  • Experience in creating and managing budgets.
  • Candidate should be a high-energy professional with excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills.
  • Flexible and a good team player.
  • Works efficiently and on own initiative.
  • Must be prepared to travel to site visits and client meetings.
  • Full Drivers Licence
