Description The Associate Director of HVAC is a full-time position responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and management of the Commercial Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning programs. This role involves assisting with curriculum development, faculty coordination, student advising, and ensuring the program meets industry standards and educational excellence. Duties to include but not limited to: Provide leadership to the HVAC program, fostering an environment of academic excellence and continuous improvement. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and industry regulations. Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate HVAC faculty members. Facilitate professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance their teaching skills and industry knowledge. Provide academic advising to HVAC students. Minimum of a high school diploma, associate’s degree preferred. ? Minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry required, with at least 2 years in teaching. ? EPA 608 certification preferred but not required. ? Certificate/Diploma in HVAC preferred but not required.
