Job Description We are seeking an Associate Director of Sales - Weddings to join our dynamic sales team in Jaipur, India. In this leadership role, you will drive sales strategy, build and mentor a high-performing team, and cultivate strong client relationships within the wedding and events industry. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on sales expertise, demonstrating a commitment to exceeding revenue targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion within the wedding and events sector Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and organizational sales targets Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, vendors, and stakeholders across the wedding industry Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales programs Oversee the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and prepare detailed performance reports for senior management Customize service offerings and pricing strategies to meet client needs while maintaining profitability Conduct negotiations with clients and partners to secure contracts and close high-value deals Implement and optimize CRM systems and sales tools to enhance team productivity and track performance metrics Collaborate with marketing, operations, and event planning teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and client presentations to strengthen market presence Monitor team performance through regular reviews and provide coaching to drive continuous improvement Qualifications 5-7+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity 3+ years of experience in the wedding, events, or hospitality industry (preferred) Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth Strong understanding of the wedding industry, including vendor management, event logistics, and customer preferences Excellent negotiation and closing skills with the ability to manage complex, high-value transactions Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing sales teams Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics platforms Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset Strategic thinking ability with the capacity to develop and implement effective sales programs Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software applications Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail Additional Information Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre stands as Asia’s premier exhibition and convention destination, boasting 226 spacious rooms and an expansive 14,00,000 square feet of event space.
