Position Title: Associate Director of Youth Services
Department: Administration
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer or Designee

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the day-to-day management of Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. (TTC) Youth Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health treatment service programs in the Antelope Valley. This includes both residential and outpatient levels of care and being responsible for policies and procedures, in-service trainings, staff orientation, marketing and public relations, contract utilization, and all administrative duties.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

Master’s Degree in social services or equivalent. Three (3) years in a supervisory capacity in the behavioral healthcare field with experience in youth substance use disorder (SUD) and/or mental health services treatment, preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates all services and directly responsible for supervising youth service supervisors, coordinators and other staff.
  • Assists with hiring and termination of all staff and assists in supervision of clinical interns when/if applicable.
  • Establishes and maintains CQI and utilization review mechanisms and processes in accordance with The Joint Commission standards and all other regulatory regulations.
  • Defines, implements, and periodically reviews the philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures and standards of youth services being delivered.
  • Plans for youth service program development/expansion to meet emerging patient/community needs.
  • Coordinates direct patient care programs and activities for youth with and through clinical staff.
  • Evaluates quality of treatment care given to youth.
  • Provides periodic administrative reports based on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, fiscal reporting and others as required.
  • Supervises and oversees the pre-screening, admissions and re-admissions process for youth.
  • Acts as the program liaison to all referring agencies including in and out of various County referral sources. Attends community meetings as needed and heads outreach efforts for youth including outreach with all surrounding Counties that contract with TTC.
  • Attends internal and external meetings as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Responsible for budget, contract utilization, contract compliance, and youth services management.
  • Other duties as requested by Administrator.
