These are subject to amendment and evolvement throughout the course of your employment with the Company as business and your position necessitate. Communicate, interpret and implement Risk Management policies & procedures Preparation / Review of periodic Risk and Control Assessments of Operational Activities Production of various periodic and ad-hoc Operational Risk Reporting including statistical/ trend analysis, remediation tracking and KPI management Working on rectifying operational errors, resolving the error at hand and tracking the implementation appropriate protocols to mitigate the risk of reoccurrence Training staff on operational error reporting Conduct deep dive risk assessments or other projects as directed by the Head of Operational Risk & Resilience Assist Internal Audit and Operations with general risk assessment and management Conducting Third Party Supplier Risk Assessments as it relates to Operational Risk & Resilience Assess and assist in mitigating risk in the Company’s new or existing products, services, processes and operations Study new and emerging international regulations and their application, reporting on the requirements and how they affect the business, and implementing processes to satisfy these requirements Monitor staff adherence to compulsory Risk training programs and roll out training as required Work with the Head of Operational Risk & Resilience to continuously assess and improve the control environment Perform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described above. This role is a Controlled Function (CF) role under the CBI Fitness & Probity regime. Qualifications At least 8-10 years’ experience working in or with Operational Risk and/or Business Continuity Management with preferably a working knowledge of Fund Administration Post-secondary degree in accounting, finance, law, economics, business or a related discipline Professional qualification in risk or a related discipline would be preferred Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements for risk management and BCP, as well as risk requirements and guidelines Knowledge of risk assessment techniques, business impact analysis, BCP planning and testing with strong cross-experience in financial services / fund services Comfortable working with complex datasets and familiar with power apps, modern data modelling apps and reporting tools. Project management skills and ability to analyse project progress and direct / redirect team efforts Advanced ability with the Microsoft Office suite of applications Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience of onboarding new systems / technology is preferred.
