Ongoing Clerk grade 11/12 opportunity base salary ($149,739 - $173,174) based in Martin Place. About the Role As the Associate Director, Performance & Insights you’ll help shape strategy and improve outcomes through evidence-led decision making. You’ll lead executive reporting and market insights, partner with senior leaders and client-facing teams, and build a high-performing, collaborative culture. This role is part of Investment NSW Group, Strategic Performance & Implementation. The Strategic Performance and Implementation team sets Investment NSW’s strategic direction and performance framework by developing evidence‑based insights, targets and KPIs that support delivery of government priorities. The team coordinates cross‑branch strategies, policy implementation and whole‑of‑agency projects, ensuring alignment, accountability and efficient execution across Investment NSW. It also provides timely performance reporting, market intelligence and strategic advice to the Deputy Secretary, Executive Leadership Team and Ministerial offices to demonstrate impact and drive continuous improvement. We're Looking For Strong analytical, reporting and storytelling capability with demonstrated experience leading outcome, impact and performance reporting, including translating economic and program results into clear executive-ready narratives. Proven strategic planning and delivery with experience developing and driving strategic business plans that align to organisational priorities and support reliable delivery. High-level market analysis and commercial insight producing market insights, combining trends, competitor intelligence and client feedback to identify opportunities and shape client offerings.
