Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director of Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Engineering to join our team in Gurgaon, India. In this leadership role, you will oversee the design and implementation of plumbing and fire protection systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Lead and manage a team of design engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship Develop and review plumbing and fire fighting system designs for commercial, residential, and industrial projects Ensure all designs meet local and international building codes and standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and project managers Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation Conduct quality assurance checks on design deliverables Implement innovative design solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and progress Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in plumbing and fire protection engineering Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred 18+ years of experience in plumbing and fire fighting design engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery Strong knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems, including water supply, drainage, fire suppression, and alarm systems Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software In-depth understanding of local and international building codes and standards Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred LEED Accredited Professional (AP) certification is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits or client meetings.
