Raytheon - Advance Product Solutions (APS) is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Associate Director, Program Management (PM) to lead an international market of programs within the Electro-Optic Infrared Solutions (EOIR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).
We are expanding our international Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) market opportunities to support our business and financial goals by focusing on partnerships with both international and Raytheon internal customers. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and executing the 5-year plan for existing focus programs, as well as driving growth opportunities within the portfolio. You will also be accountable for establishing priorities, optimizing performance and execution across all contracts, and supporting both business and customer requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience (in one or more of the following areas: program management, leadership operations,/production, integrated product team lead, etc)
  • Leadership experience managing program execution (i.e., risk, cost, quality, schedule, etc.) for multiple programs with international customers
  • Experience leading proposal activity
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to develop executable localization plans specific to international customers
  • Experience engaging with and reporting out to all levels of leadership and stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER

  • Program Management - Level 3 Certification or completion of the same within twelve months of being in role
  • Electro-Optic Infrared Solutions (EO/IR) experience
  • Experience leading programs to include development, production, & sustainment
  • Experience working with international customers: Indo-Pacific (Japan, Korea. Taiwan, Singapore, etc.) and MENA countries (KSA, UAE, etc.)
  • Experience planning, capturing and/or executing Offset/Localization Programs
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to senior executives, international and DoD customer bases

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Maintain responsibility for execution of exist businesses as well as the capture of new platforms and captures
  • Work with functional leads to meet/exceed AOP; performance management, coach, mentor, while utilizing Program Management best practices
  • Develop effective relationships with peers and stakeholders (to include: external, internal, and executive leadership, international and RTX internal Inter Organizational Transfer (IOT) customers)
  • Oversee the application of disciplined program management tools and processes, to ensure compliance measures
  • Maintain program oversight and growth, accurate forecasting, and reporting
  • Support an environment that promotes sharing of best practice, information, and collaborative behaviors between the programs
  • Establish a battle rhythm to reduce program risk, status schedule milestones / critical chain, and internal and external program stakeholder engagements
  • Travel, as required, to participate in business engagements (80% international and 20% domestic)
