Lead high‑impact regional initiatives that shape outcomes across NSW Seeking a senior leader with regional experience driving complex projects through strong collaboration Full-time ongoing, Clerk Grade 11/12 ($149,739 - $173,174 per annum) opportunity in Western NSW Role based in Western NSW (preferred locations: Dubbo or Orange). Lead complex, place‑based initiatives across Western NSW, partnering across government to deliver better services and outcomes for regional communities. About the Role As an Associate Director, you will play a critical leadership role in driving and delivering place-based, regional, and state-wide initiatives that improve outcomes for communities across regional and rural NSW. Working within the Western NSW team, you will lead complex programs and service delivery reform initiatives in collaboration with NSW Government agencies, local councils, and the private sector to ensure government priorities are delivered at a regional level. Key priorities include supporting cross-agency responses to urgent issues, advancing government priorities, and delivering responsive change and service improvement for regional and rural communities. You confidently balance strategic thinking with practical delivery and build trusted relationships across regions and government. You will bring: Strong project and program management capability across multiple interdependencies Experience applying subject matter expertise to planning, delivery and evaluation Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong regional networks A proven track record of cross‑agency collaboration to deliver shared outcomes Experience working with regional communities and government partners including supporting coordinated responses to regional housing and energy transition Clear, influential communication skills, with the ability to provide high‑quality advice and manage complex viewpoints People leadership skills to maximise results from the resources available and to build team capacity A results‑focused approach with strong measurement, evaluation and reporting capability.
