Remote Work in US is Possible WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Identify customers, directly or with the support of the Commercial Head or other team members, who are a good fit for Corden Pharma and drive the business opportunities to success. Discuss and develop a strategy together with the Commercial Head to grow the business in the territory. Manage a group of diverse customers representing the DP Business Unit ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * New Business & Network Development * Generate a pipeline of opportunities for revenue and EBITDA growth. Establish a roadmap for the territory to achieve the objectives * Territory insight and excellent mapping of the customer base and the growth opportunity  * Establish a customer visit plan for the territory and involve key stakeholders whenever needed * Provide input on project pricing, timelines, and competitive landscape to drive towards closing the opportunity. Work closely with the site to structure the proposal based on customer expectation * Provide input to the Line Manager to establish business cases for selected projects * Review supply contracts and identify key business terms and challenges to be negotiated * Negotiate contracts and close agreements with the support from Legal and other Corden Pharma stakeholders as fit * Identify new commercial opportunities for Corden Pharma products and services * Contact prospects and customers (phone, visits, emails, conferences and trade shows) in Pharma, Biotech, and Diagnostic Fields * Present information on Corden Pharma capabilities and services in useful, appealing, and interactive ways to potential customers.  * Sell the Corden Pharma value proposition * Generate quote requests * RFPs (request for proposals), initiate internal evaluation of Review projects with site-based customer project manager for technical feasibility and cost assessment * Prepare proposals for internal review and approval prior sending to customers * Represent customer needs and provide feedback to Corden Pharma stakeholders * Initiate and participate in industry events * Business Execution * Ensure customer expectations are aligned with the project execution plan and budget * Identify potential contractual gaps and work with the corresponding stakeholders to close such gaps * Collaborate with site-based customer project manager and global project management to ensure projects are successfully executed and that all customer requirements are addressed * Initiate and manage customer project follow ups, debriefing and status reviews according to company strategy * Manage customer relations to maintain and grow business at key accounts * Work closely with Commercial Head, site-based customer project manager and general managers. * Promote the Corden Pharma Brand * Territory Management * Provide regular update on the development in the territory and input for improvement * Assess the opportunity in the territory and the resources. Provide recommendations to establish an action plan for further development * Communicate any major sales deviations and issues. Anticipate potential issues and discuss possible solutions * Develop customer intimacy and ensure a very good responsiveness * Prepare periodic reports, visit summaries, sales activities and results * Monitor and share market conditions * Organize regular sales meetings, briefing calls with key stakeholders; share views and information with other sales and marketing members * Coordinate with Platform Heads to define visits/marketing/business plan CORE COMPETENCIES These are the specific areas of knowledge, skill and ability that are important for successful job performance. They must be job related and consistent with business necessity. * Capable of tracking and monitoring sales and aligning with Corden Pharma’s sales budget * Capable of deploying an action plan for the territory to achieve sales objectives * Excellent communication skills and customer relationship management * Capable of managing difficult situations * Experience with CRM Systems (ideally SalesForce) * Experience working in a matrixed environment with cross functional teams (Quality, Finance, Manufacturing, IT, etc.), including key international account leaders EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE  A Bachelor Degree in Business or Life Sciences. Other qualifications to be assessed based on experience and individual profile. Five years of relevant experience in Sales and Account Management in Pharmaceutical Custom Development and Manufacturing (DP).
