Summary: The RPA Engineer serves as a technical and delivery leader for robotic process automation initiatives. This role partners with business leaders, product owners, and technology teams to identify automation opportunities, define standards, and deliver reliable attended and unattended automation solutions. The Lead RPA Engineer ensures best practices, security, scalability, and operational excellence across the full automation lifecycle while mentoring junior engineers and influencing automation strategy. Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Strategy * Handle end‑to‑end RPA initiatives, from opportunity identification through production deployment and support * Define and enforce RPA best practices, coding standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks * Serve as the technical authority for automation architecture, solution design, and platform decisions * Evaluate new automation technologies, tools, and capabilities to enhance the automation roadmap Solution Design & Delivery * Partner with business users and process owners to deeply understand current systems, workflows, and pain points * Identify, assess, and prioritize automation opportunities based on ROI, scalability, and technical feasibility * Design robust automation solutions by decomposing complex business processes into programmable workflows * Develop, test, and deploy attended and unattended bots using approved RPA platforms * Build integrations with APIs, databases, files, and enterprise applications as part of automation solutions Operational Excellence * Ensure automation solutions meet performance, reliability, security, and compliance requirements * Lead testing, debugging, exception handling, logging, and documentation for automation workflows * Provide guidance and resolution for production incidents, root cause analysis, and performance tuning * Drive continuous improvement by refactoring existing bots and optimizing automation efficiency Collaboration & Mentorship * Act as a primary point of contact for automation-related technical discussions with business and IT stakeholders * Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior RPA engineers and contractors * Collaborate with architecture, security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards * Participate in Agile ceremonies and support planning, estimation, and delivery commitments Required Qualifications * 6+ years of experience in Robotic Process Automation or intelligent automation roles * 3+ years in a Lead or Senior RPA Engineer role driving design and delivery * Strong hands‑on experience with UiPath and/or Microsoft Power Automate * Proven experience designing and implementing attended and unattended bots * Strong understanding of business process analysis and automation lifecycle management * Experience with API integrations, REST services, and system connectivity * Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python or VB Script * Experience working in Agile and SDLC-based delivery environments * Ability to manage multiple automation initiatives with minimal guidance   Desired Qualifications: * Experience establishing or scaling an enterprise RPA program * Exposure to cloud-based automation platforms and orchestration * Knowledge of security, compliance, and access control best practices for RPA * Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders * Experience supporting automation solutions in high‑availability production environments * Reporting experience, analytics experience or a combination of both Skillset: * Robotic Process Automation (UiPath, Power Automate) * RPA Architecture & Governance * Business Process Analysis & Workflow Design * Python, VB Script * Attended & Unattended Automation * REST APIs and Enterprise System Integration * Debugging, Monitoring & Optimization * Agile Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration   Trimont is an equal opportunity employer, and we’re proud to support and celebrate diversity in the workplace.
