KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Ensure 100% in Stock for all NPI Products from launch until stabilization.
  • Single face to all our Commercial and Business Development teams for all NPI Products.
  • Lead the S&OP Process for all NPI products aligning closely with Established S&OP teams to ensure a single robust S&OP process for the company.
  • Lead NPI Due Diligence process from a SCM standpoint. Ensure deep down analysis and scenario planning of each deal leading to creation of a strong business case.
  • Operationally lead new launches from Signing to launch to stabilization to handover to established teams.
  • Single face to all our NPI CMO’s for all operational purposes.
  • Represent SCM in New Partner due diligence and identification
  • Work in partnership with all CMO Team and Advanz teams to ensure our plans are delivered in a compliant manner.
  • Represent the Company, enhancing its reputation and importance with our CMO’s.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The AD – NPI SCM Lead will play a critical role in working with our commercial group and all internal operations group in driving the launch of all new products that are key to our company’s growth. The role would be based in Mumbai/London/Europe and would be embedded within Advanz Pharma’s SCM Team with direct reporting VP Supply Chain. The role will also play a key role as a partner to Business Development teams , in doing due diligence of new deals specifically to understand the capacity and capability of new partners and overall risk to the deals due to that. The role would also support the BD teams on deeper understanding of commercial forecast , the break up of the forecast, the risks and upsides to the forecast. If a new CMO partner is to be identified the role would also support in partner selection process.
On the downstream side, operationally the role will drive new product launches from deal signing to launch to stability. This includes building Forecasting scenarios with commercial, working with CMO NPI Team to ensure timely supply and working with Logistics to deliver the product at launch timeline. A key part of the role is also to ensure smooth handover of the NPI products to established products teams.
On the upstream side, operationally the role will ensure that all Advanz Pharma commercial plans for the NPI products are accurately communicated to all level’s in the CMO teams. The role will also ensure that Advanz commercial plans are accurately converted into a feasible manufacturing plan at the CMO, delivered as per agreed timelines and dispatched following all agreed compliance standards. The role enables quick and seamless communication and foster deeper collaboration between Advanz and CMO teams.
The role will work with all Commercial GM’s, Launch Project team, NPI Launch Team, all Scientific affairs teams and all ELT stakeholders independently. The role will manage key independently and also keep a strong oversight on other team members who are managing CMO’s.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strongly support the business development teams in due diligence process of the SCM and Manufacturing capacity and capabilities of new partners. Also support with partner identification as needed.
  • Support BD teams with deep scenario planning of Forecast , Capacity and Capability assumptions to ensure a water tight business case is built to enable decision making.
  • Lead the entire launch process from deal signing to launch from a SCM standpoint.
  • Lead S&OP Process and Meetings for all NPI products at country, Regional and ELT level. Ensure the NPI S&OP process is well aligned with overall S&OP process of the company
  • Build robust Forecasting scenarios with deep knowledge of various sales channels that drive the forecast in each market. Also build a strong rationale for feasibility of all scenarios and factors impacting each scenario.
  • Proactively track Sales of new launches to ensure forecasting assumptions are being met. If sales are off track work closely with commercial to align forecast to current realities.
  • Work closely with Commercial groups on Tender submissions and ensure along with NPI CMO group, the supply feasibility of new tenders or any other exceptional demand increase.
  • Ensure all Advanz Pharma Commercial priorities are well communicated to the CMO NPI teams. Quick decision making on allocation of constrained CMO resources to support Advanz priorities.
  • Strong Collaboration with NPI CMO Teams for accurate demand and supply matching, to ensure all commercial commitments are met, any risk to supply is mitigated or communicated in accurate and timely fashion.
  • Establish strong relationships with commercial partners, fostering
  • open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and own the relationship with the External Manufacturing Partner, specifically with partner’s SCM, Plant Operations and Scientific Affairs teams.
  • Strongly support the business development teams in due diligence process of the SCM and Manufacturing capacity and capabilities of new partners. Also support with partner identification as needed.
  • Integrate with CMO teams, understand their manufacturing process, CMO’s constraints by being embedded with the partner teams.
  • Ensure all Advanz Pharma Commercial priorities are well communicated to the partner teams. Quick decision making on allocation of constrained CMO resources to support Advanz priorities.
  • Proactively identify all CMO constraints( Man, Machine and Material) in manufacturing and operations and ensure they are communicated to Advanz teams to support accurate revenue planning and right communication to regulatory authorities.
  • Strong Collaboration with NPI S&OP Teams for accurate demand and supply matching, to ensure all commercial commitments are met, any risk to supply is mitigated or communicated in accurate and timely fashion.
  • Create a short and long term feasible supply plan to meet all Market commercial Forecast , support growth and launch plan for NPI Products.
  • Strong Collaboration with CMO Operations teams to ensure the Supply plan is converted to a feasible manufacturing plan and ensure execution of the plan at a granular level. Support the CMO teams to mitigate constraints to support Advanz revenue plan.
  • Ensure strong Lead time adherence for all steps in manufacturing and until quality release and dispatch .
  • Ensure the dispatch process is compliant with Advanz pharma standards and all agreed secondary packing, handling , storage and shipping conditions are met by the CMO teams.
  • Establish strong relationships with external manufacturing partners, fostering
  • open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor key supply chain metrics and performance indicators, identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.
  • Support new product introductions and product lifecycle management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal impact on supply chain operations.
  • Co-ordinate Distribution and Logistics function for the collection and delivery of your product from the CMO to the Distributor
  • Monitor key supply chain metrics and performance indicators, identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the S&OP function leveraging data analytics, technology tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Use scheduling software (Anaplan) to coordinate deliveries and future supply plans.
  • Ensure to capture key parameters for planning requirement like batch size, Lead time, etc. and update the Master data on regular basis
  • Disseminate business intelligence within the Company that may be collected through interaction with various groups internal or external.
