QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in business partnering and service delivery in a consulting, technology and global services environment.
  • Strong understanding of the economic landscape and technologies in the Greater Asia region, focused in the Commercial and Supply Domains in the MedTech/LifeSciences industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing complex IT projects and initiatives from concept to implementation, partnering with internal and external IT groups.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and leadership skills, in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally with internal and external experts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in technology, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), and robotic process automation (RPA).
  • Proficiency in SAP, Salesforce (SFDC) and infrastructure management.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Agile, CISM).

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop a deep understanding of the business acumen, economic competition landscape, and technologies within the Greater Asia region, including key driver goals, short- and long-term roadmaps, and key personnel.
  • Business Relationship: Establish and maintain value-adding, strategic partner relationships for the entire TGS function by working closely with senior management and business unit leaders. Act as the trusted advisor and advocate for the business stakeholders by proactively identifying opportunities for technology-enable business improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of business partners by fostering a culture of cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to conduct analysis, prepare appropriate solution directions, and managing their priorities.
  • Operational Excellence: Contribute to the BD Operational Excellence Agenda across Greater Asia using Kaizen methodology, identifying areas for improvement and optimization, leveraging technology to bring about efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Transformation: Drive digital and data transformation across the region by leveraging emerging technologies and best practices. This includes enterprise platforms such as ERP consolidation and delivering new commercial technology capabilities.
  • Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with business units to gather and analyze requirements for IT projects/initiatives and establish the business benefits. Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure alignment with IT capabilities and resources.
  • Solution Design and Implementation: Lead high-level design and implementation approach of IT solutions that address business challenges and opportunities. Work with internal IT teams or external vendors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions on time and within budget.
  • Change Management: Work with business stakeholders to drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption and utilization of IT solutions across the organization. Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Collaborate with IT security and compliance teams and Data Privacy to ensure that IT solutions comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization’s data, systems, and operations.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring that they deliver high-quality services and solutions that meet the needs of the business. Negotiate contracts and service agreements as needed.
