Description

Be part of a Founding Team at our upcoming Yaletown Clinic!
At Juno Veterinary, we are on a mission to ensure every pet and Juno team member has the support they need to thrive. Our ultimate vision is to establish a stellar standard for the veterinary industry; the Juno standard of care. We are seeking to challenge a traditional industry by establishing the Juno standard of care across Canada not just for our Members and their pets, but also for our team of veterinary professionals as they are at the heart of everything we do. We are just getting started and we cannot wait to meet you.
We are assembling a team of innovative thinkers across consumer-tech and veterinary medicine to build a new experience for consumers and providers. We are looking for someone who shares our vision and YOU want to be a major part of shaping the future with Juno. We are looking for someone who loves the idea of building something new, contributing to the Mission, and being part of an early-stage company committed to making a positive impact.
Juno is looking for Veterinarians to join our clinics and help us build a world class offering. This role is based out of our upcoming Yaletown clinic in Vancouver and reports directly to the Head of Veterinary Medicine.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who shares our vision and loves the idea of contributing to the growth of a new clinic and being part of an early-stage company.

WHO WE ARE

  • Pet and pet parent focused: The love we have for animals drives us to do our best. We work with initiative, positivity and warmth to bridge the gap between human and pet, focusing on wellness to keep a better, stronger bond

  • A clinic built for Vets, vet techs and care teams: We bring a happy, positive attitude to work because it impacts the energy in the office. We’re building a collaborative kind of vet experience, and every team member is empowered to try new things and own their decision-making.

  • Integrity and transparency: We speak up, we do what we say, and we’re transparent and honest. We value clear, simple communication.

  • We are a team: We’re knowledgeable, kind and passionate about a fantastic veterinary experience. We jump at the opportunity to help one another and seek out opportunities to team up on tasks. We’re all in this together - our team, pet owners, and the animal - and our success as a team hinges on all of us doing our best.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A DVM/VMD degree with a full British Columbia Veterinary License
  • 1 + years of experience in Veterinary Medicine (ideally with a focus in medicine - routine and urgent, dentistry and surgery)
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
  • A passion for Juno Vet’s mission to provide an exceptional vet experience for patients, clients and employees
  • Committed to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the code of ethics

OUR PROMISE TO YOU

  • Great work-life balance
  • Generous Paid-time off, CE allowance
  • Paid dues - CVO, OVMA, VIN, PLUMBs app
  • We offer comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits along with Health Spending Accounts

  • Working in a well designed hospital with state-of-the-art equipment and best-in-class technology;
  • A clear career path with opportunities for growth and development, both personally and professionally
  • A collaborative team of people who live our core values and have your back
We’re looking for people who are not just team players, but also leaders. If you’ve made it this far, you’re probably looking for something different than what’s already out there. So are we — let’s meet.
