You may be required to travel to our Mumbai office based on business requirements or for company/team events We are looking for a proactive and people-focused individual to build strong relationships with our global network of freelance editors. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our freelance contractors, ensuring they feel supported, engaged, and connected in a fully remote environment. From onboarding to ongoing engagement initiatives, you will play a key role in creating a seamless and positive experience that enables them to do their best work. To succeed in this role, you should be empathetic, culturally aware, and highly organized, with strong communication skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions. Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for our freelance contractors, supporting them throughout their journey with us Ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience by coordinating with internal teams and keeping things on track Handle freelancer queries related to processes, systems, invoicing, and day-to-day operations in a timely manner Step in to manage and resolve escalations, working closely with relevant teams to close issues effectively Keep an eye on trends in freelancer concerns or challenges, and suggest improvements to make processes better Track engagement and attrition patterns, and take proactive steps to improve retention Plan and run engagement initiatives to help freelancers feel connected and part of a larger community Stay in touch with freelancers through regular check-ins to understand their experience and concerns Gather and analyze feedback from surveys and conversations, and share insights with stakeholders Qualifications and Prerequisites Have experience working with or supporting a remote workforce Are a strong communicator who genuinely enjoys interacting with people Are empathetic, approachable, and good at handling sensitive situations Can think on your feet and solve problems effectively Are comfortable working with data and drawing insights from it Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, sometimes unstructured environment Are organized, reliable, and focused on getting things done Application Process Before applying, please ensure you meet the role requirements listed above and have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is advertised.
