Description

Scoular is seeking motivated grain elevator operators to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating safe and reliable supply chain solutions for our customers. * Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing grain while assisting with the weighing and grading of grain trucks. * Operate heavy equipment (loaders, skid steer loaders, track mobiles, rail car movers, etc.) * Manage grain storage by creating and moving grain piles, as well as performing general cleaning and housekeeping of bins and storage structures. * Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and promptly reporting any unsafe practices or hazards. * Perform general maintenance tasks as needed to support operations. Qualifications * Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening * Flexibility to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. * Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat (90-120F), cold (subzero), and high winds (40+ mph). * Must be comfortable with climbing ladders, heights, and working in confined spaces * Must be able to work in environments with dust and airborne particles, including grain dust * Wear required PPE, such as hard hats, safety glasses, and safety footwear. * Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. multiple times per day and standing on hard surfaces for extended periods * Experience in a grain facility preferred but not required
