SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Diploma in Electronics/Computer or any Engineering related
  • 0 - 2 years’ experience in the broadcasting/media industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Preferred to have good knowledge and experience in:
  • Headend System Operation and Support.- Ingest and playout systems. - Media asset management system.
  • Understanding of live and file – based workflows.- Operation and maintenance of various SDI and IP - based broadcast systems (e.g. audio/video processors; audio/video broadcast monitor; graphics; subtitling; video routers; video transcoding; decoders and video compression/transport)
  • Server, workstation and network troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • IT security compliance.
  • Experience in networking preferably CCNA certified.
  • Able to work independently at the same time a team player.
  • Able to work under pressure and has good problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, open-minded, take initiative to learn and innovate.
  • Possess growth mindset and strong desire to improve operational efficiency.
  • Flexible with work time (To work on 12-hour shift, weekends and public holidays).
  • Able to do cabling work such as laying of cabling, fabrication of video/network cables.
