Description
Overview Element has an opportunity for an Associate Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. The engineer position must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures. Responsibilities To Perform Calibration and Measurement of Dimension gauges and instruments as per WI. using CMM, reference master, tester etc. (on-site and in-house) with report and necessary administrative work Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment as schedule and assigned Ensure proper delivery of service to customer(s) Help manager to manage day-to-day calibration work in the labs reference to ISO17025 standard, eg. Quality/ Job Planning/ Job Assignment/ Customer Requirements etc Any other duties as assigned by Manager/ Section Head/ Senior staff Skills / Qualifications • ITE/GCE/ Diploma in Aerospace/ Precision or Mechanical Engineering etc• 2 to 3 years Working knowledge in QC/QA or Calibration /Testing field.• Good to have 2 to 3 years CMM / GD&T knowledge.• Ability to read and understand technical drawing.• Good to have ISO17025 and measurement uncertainty knowledge• Ability to analyze and compile Calibration / testing data from the Calibration/ tests performed• Possess strong computer skills• Basic Mathematical Skills.
