The Associate Engineer, Inspection reports to the Engineering Superintendent, Inspection, and is the technical steward for fixed equipment, piping, heat exchangers, tanks, and mechanical systems and is accountable for supporting system maintenance and improving these systems including all associated documentation. The employee will provide leadership and discipline expertise to less experienced support staff, engineering design, maintenance, and production groups.
This is a Non-DOT position.
KNOWLEDGE:
Understands LNG transportation, storage, and processing, including health, safety, maintenance, operations, governmental regulations and associated codes and standards. Has knowledge of fixed equipment inspection programs relative to principals outlined in American Petroleum Institute 510, 570, & 653 and industry best practices. Candidate should also be knowledgeable of Risk Based Inspection methodologies, application, and evergreen techniques.
SKILLS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education, Training and Certifications : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. A Master’s degree in Engineering is desirable. A Professional Engineers License is desirable.
Experience : 0+ plus years of experience required. Recent experience with LNG is preferred, however, petrochemical, NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or other hydrocarbon processing experience may be acceptable.
