Join our dynamic Technical Publications team where you'll collaborate closely with authors, illustrators, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality documentation that meets global aerospace standards such as ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D. As an Associate Engineer, you will play a key role in creating, revising, and maintaining technical manuals that directly support the operational reliability and safety of aircraft systems and components. Key Responsibilities: Create and revise high-quality technical documentation such as: Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) Aircraft Illustrated Parts Catalogs (AIPC) Component Maintenance Publications (CMP) Author clear and accurate procedures including assembly, disassembly, testing, and repair. Work with tools like Adobe FrameMaker, Arbortext Editor, and Common Source Databases (CSDB). Ensure compliance with industry standards including ATA100, iSpec 2200, and S1000D. Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret engineering drawings, change documents (ECNs, SBs, SILs, etc.), and incorporate updates. Validate and resolve XML/SGML parsing errors and maintain document integrity. Contribute to the continuous improvement of content quality, consistency, and usability. Apply Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE) for global readability. Support illustration integration using tools like Isodraw, 3DVIA, or CATIA (optional but advantageous). Manage and track document changes using PLM systems like Teamcenter or Ennovia. What We’re Looking For: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Experience: 1–3 years in technical authoring within the aerospace or related industries. Hands-on experience with authoring tools and structured authoring (XML/SGML). Familiarity with aviation documentation standards and life cycle management. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
